Designing the Future of Higher Education with Design Thinking

Design thinking has now established itself in Germany as an approach to creative problem solving and innovation development. The aim of the Meetup is to bring together people who use Design Thinking to support innovation and transformation processes in higher education.

We look forward to a discussion about what it means to design an “education experience” and how we might adapt the Design Thinking approach for developing higher education in Germany. What works well and what is difficult? Who could be involved in such a process and how could people join together to introduce and support Design Thinking?

The Meetup marks the start of a community of interest - that ideally evolves into a community of practice - in which we can continue to exchange ideas and get involved after UFF 2024. Everyone who is already working with Design Thinking in higher education or is interested in applying it within a higher education context are warmly invited.
